The Xavier Institute: Year VII - Our Current RP Site

Nestled in cozy Westchester County, New York, is a boarding school for gifted youngsters, founded by renowned philanthropist and geneticist, Professor Charles Francis Xavier. On any given day, you will find students playing in the basketball courts, having lunch in the dining halls, hurrying in the corridors between classes --

-- or perhaps facing down ten-ton Sentinels in the Danger Room under the supervision of the dark-uniformed figures known as the X-Men. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, these gifted youngsters are, in fact, mutants.

The past years have been filled with attacks and turmoil and these hallowed halls, but with the Brotherhood's recent withdrawal from the city of New York to a remote island called Genosha, a sense of peace has seemed to settle over the school and its inhabitants. Without a major faction to face down, and without the strong anti-mutant sentiment in the government of past years, many believe that Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters may have reached brighter days at last.

But threats still lurk at every bend - acceptance in the outside world continues to restrict these gifted youngsters to secrecy, and in the Brotherhood's absence, there is room for new enemies to arise.

Trips into the city can turn from benign to perilous in a heartbeat. Not everyone, you will soon find, embraces Charles Xavier's philosophy of peaceful coexistence.

The doors of our school are open to students who seek acceptance, who seek knowledge, who seek family. Visit our site and learn more.
